Lucien
Velvet, and something moving underneath it
Lucien says less than anyone else in the library and somehow occupies more of the room for it. His delivery is slow, dark and measured — velvet minimalism, every word chosen and nothing spare. He is protective in a way he would never describe as protective, and there is a brooding quality he neither hides nor apologises for. What makes him compelling is the restraint: the constant sense of something held deliberately in check. He belongs to the darker end of Laced and to Leather, and he is best met late, when the house has gone quiet.
